Some links go to partner brokers or services. If you sign up or open an account through them, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you.

Commissions do not change the content of our ideas or lessons.
Partner links are labelled where they appear.
[List actual partners and the commission arrangement here once agreements are signed.]

Privacy policy

How we handle your data

We collect only what we need to run TradePortal, and we handle it in line with the Kenya Data Protection Act, 2019.

What we collect. Account details (name, email), contact-form messages, membership and payment status, course progress, and basic technical data such as security logs.
Payments. Card, M-Pesa and crypto payments are handled by our payment providers. We do not store full card numbers.
Sharing. We share data only with service providers that host the site, store data, send email, process payments or prevent abuse, and where the law requires it.
Human verification. Forms and sign-in use Cloudflare Turnstile to block automated abuse. It processes limited technical data as part of that check.
How long we keep data. [Owner to confirm retention periods, e.g. account data while the account is open, payment records as required by tax law.]
Your rights. You may ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, and to object to some uses. Contact us at enquirytradeportal@gmail.com. You may also complain to the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner, Kenya.
Registration. [Owner to confirm whether registration with the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner is required for the business.]
Refunds and cancellation

Payments and refunds

How billing, cancellation and refunds work for monthly and annual memberships.

Billing. Prices, the billing period (monthly or annual) and any taxes are shown before you pay. Subscriptions renew until you cancel.
Cancelling. Cancel any time in your account. Access continues until the end of the period you have paid for. Cancelling stops the next renewal.
Refund window. [Owner to confirm, e.g. 14 days from first purchase.] To request a refund, email us from your account email with your order reference. Approved refunds go back to the original payment method.
Digital content. Once you start using paid content, some refund rights may not apply, depending on the law. [Lawyer to confirm.]
Charges in error. If you believe you were charged incorrectly, contact us and we will investigate.
